Multicultural Kids Festival Returns to Portland’s Ventura Park on September 27
Families are invited to enjoy live performances, cultural experiences, children’s activities and community connections.
PORTLAND, Ore. — Slavic Community Center of NW will present the 2026 Multicultural Kids Festival on Sunday, September 27, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Ventura Park in East Portland.
The family-friendly festival will bring children, parents and neighbors together for a joyful celebration of the cultures and traditions that make the Portland area feel like home.
Guests can look forward to live music, cultural dance performances, a children’s talent show, master classes, games, bouncing houses, a petting zoo and hands-on activities for children. Local businesses, artists, nonprofit organizations and community groups will also offer resources, products and interactive experiences throughout the park.
Young performers and cultural groups will take the stage throughout the day, giving children and adults an opportunity to share their music, dance, clothing and traditions with the broader community. The festival is designed for all ages, with a special focus on making children active participants in the celebration.
Beyond entertainment, the Multicultural Kids Festival creates a welcoming space where families from different backgrounds can meet their neighbors, discover local organizations and learn about the traditions represented throughout the Portland area.
The festival will take place at Ventura Park, next to Ventura Park Elementary School. Guests should use 145 SE 117th Ave., Portland, OR 97216 for directions. Parking will be available at the school and on nearby streets where permitted. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, carpool or use public transportation.
Businesses, cultural organizations, performers and community partners are invited to participate. Sponsorship, vendor and volunteer opportunities are currently available through the festival website.
